Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendeteksian fraud oleh auditor internal merupakan salah satu peran dari kegiatan internal auditing yang dijalankan dalam organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menemukan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh independensi dan profesionalisme auditor internal dalam mendeteksi fraud. Unit analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah auditor internal di perusahaan BUMN di Kota Bandung. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh independensi dan profesionalisme auditor internal terhadap pendeteksian fraud. Abstract Detection of fraud by the internal auditor is one of the roles of internal auditing activities that is undertaken within the organization. This research aims to test and find empirical evidence about the influence of the independence and professionalism of internal auditors in detecting fraud. The unit of analysis used in this research are the internal auditors in SOEs (State-owned Enterprises) in Bandung. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple regression. This research results showed that the influence of the independence and professionalism of internal auditors in detecting fraud is exist.
