Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove empirically through testing that there are significant influences of the business process on the application of accounting information systems to gain competitive advantage. The background of this research is the phenomenon of accounting information systems in Indonesia do not have good quality so that the accounting information generated can not be qualified, and is also known that the condition of the business process is not qualified. The results showed that business process affect the application of accounting information system. The fact that the application of accounting information system has not been optimal is caused by the dimensions of the business process that is time, the quality of internal processes and the flexibility of the process have not been fully accommodated within the accounting information system applications.
